Wilson Anthony
FOUNDER & CEO
Wilson is a Raleigh, NC native who went on to study at the University of Alabama. A lifelong enthusiast of both the internet and cars, Wilson traces the roots of his career back to the 1990s, when his family brought home their first computer – a Gateway. Shortly after, he was spending countless hours browsing cars online, unknowingly immersed in Vehicle Detail Pages. At the time, he had no idea these early experiences would lay the foundation for a career dedicated to helping auto dealers navigate the digital world.
When he's not working, Wilson devotes most of his time to his family – his wife & Phelps Digital’s In-House Council, Taylor, and their three children: Woodley, Hayes, and Boyd. They also have a dog, Frank – lovingly known as their "first child." When time allows, he enjoys hitting the golf course.
Since founding Phelps, Wilson believes the most impactful change has been the team. A group built on trust, shared goals, and genuine care for one another – a culture he’s deeply proud of and a big reason he looks forward to work each day. As he often says, “You’re only as good as the person next to you.”

David Enos
PRESIDENT
David grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and went on to attend East Carolina University – Go Pirates! As President of Phelps Digital, David brings over 12 years of experience in digital marketing, with a deep understanding of the home furnishings industry. Throughout his career, he has worked with national brands, industry buying groups, and hundreds of local furniture retailers, helping them grow through smart, effective digital strategies.
Outside of work, David loves traveling, catching live music whenever he can, and most of all, spending quality time with his family.

Jon Caborn
VICE PRESIDENT OF GROWTH
Originally from Attica, NY – a small town near Buffalo (Go Bills!) Jon enjoys running and traveling with family in his free time. His top bucket list item is to play Augusta National just once.
With over 20 years of experience in automotive marketing, specializing in digital strategy, Jon has worked with numerous automotive manufacturers and recently served on FordDirect's Dealer Advisory Board. His extensive dealership background provides a deep understanding of the challenges dealers face. At Phelps Digital, he is dedicated to helping companies navigate vendor relationships, manufacturer programs, and digital spending.
One of Jon’s favorite aspects of the role is guiding companies to better understand their digital investments.

Taylor Anthony
IN-HOUSE COUNCIL
Taylor grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and later attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate studies … Go Dawgs! After completing college, Taylor spent a few years living and working in New York City before deciding to pursue a law degree. In 2016, she earned a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Since joining Phelps, Taylor has loved being part of a dynamic and ever-evolving team, and has especially enjoyed watching the company grow and thrive year after year. Outside of legal and finance responsibilities, Taylor stays busy with family life, spending as much time as possible with her husband, Phelps Digital CEO & Founder, Wilson and their three young children. A lifelong sports enthusiast, she also enjoys playing tennis in any spare moment.

Steven Holland
DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SUCCESS
Steven brings a data-driven approach to digital strategy, primarily focused on the automotive sector. His passion lies in empowering clients to achieve more impactful results with their existing budgets, leveraging insights from Google Ads, Google Analytics, and various other digital and 3rd party platforms.
Since joining Phelps in 2020, his role has evolved from digital strategist to leading a team of seven top-tier strategists. He finds immense satisfaction in guiding this talented team while also continuing to collaborate with some of our largest automotive clients to drive their success.
Steven has spent most of his life in NC, with a brief stint in Denver, CO, where he obtained his MBA. He attended UNC-Wilmington as an undergrad but remains a Tar Heel fan for life. He enjoys spending time playing golf, attending local sports events and concerts, traveling, and cherishing moments with his wife, 2 kids, and dog.

Taylor Walker
TEAM LEAD, DIGITAL STRATEGY
Since joining Phelps Digital in 2021, Taylor has been shaping the strategic direction of client accounts while setting a high bar for performance and collaboration. Her favorite part of the job? The relationships. After years of helping businesses and her teammates grow, she’s built a reputation as both a trusted partner and a straight-shooting strategist.
Taylor has worked across a wide range of industries, but today, she’s laser-focused on driving results within home furnishings. She’s a familiar face at industry conferences and the creative force behind Phelps Digital’s own social media and marketing presence.
Outside of work, you can find her & her husband renovating their home on weekends or spoiling her two Aussie sidekicks, Cooper and Remmi. On her bucket list? Backcountry heli-skiing, because she's never been one to settle for the bunny hill.

Rachel Barber
SENIOR STRATEGIST & AUTOMOTIVE LEAD
Originally from Greenville, NC, Rachel Barber is a proud Barton College graduate with over a decade of experience in automotive marketing. As a Digital Strategist at Phelps, Rachel leads the agency’s automotive industry efforts, combining her deep industry knowledge with a passion for building meaningful client relationships. Her favorite part of the job is becoming an extension of her clients’ teams—earning trust and delivering results through collaboration and strategic insight.
Rachel’s go-to digital medium is Google Ads, where she specializes in analyzing campaign performance to uncover insights and optimize strategies. Her key strengths include communication, relationship building, and a sharp understanding of the auto industry, all of which have helped her thrive in her role.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and curling up with a good book. She shares her home with her husband and their two dogs—Jack and Rosie.

Wes Claytor
SENIOR DIGITAL STRATEGIST
As a Senior Digital Strategist at Phelps Digital, Wes’ goal is to help businesses grow through smart and effective digital marketing. What he enjoys most about the role is connecting with business owners, learning about their challenges, and finding creative ways to improve their marketing efforts.
He has a strong passion for Google Ads and paid search, developed through hands-on experience managing campaigns and delivering impactful results. There's nothing more rewarding to him than watching well-optimized campaigns generate high-quality, profitable leads. One of his key strengths is simplifying complex digital marketing concepts so clients can better understand them and make more informed decisions.
Outside of work, he can often be found running ultramarathons, volunteering at local races, or traveling with his wife and daughter and dog – Mr. Cheezel. A major bucket list goal? Completing a transcontinental journey across the U.S. on foot east to west – one step at a time.

Fred Dees Jr. is a seasoned Digital Strategist with a strong foundation in paid media, SEO, and full-funnel digital planning. A proud native of Smithfield, NC and graduate of Clemson University, Fred thrives on crafting performance-driven campaigns that connect brands to audiences in meaningful ways. His favorite part of the job? Translating data into strategy that drives measurable growth.
Fred has delivered results across a wide range of industries—including healthcare, education, retail, and automotive—leveraging platforms like Google Ads and paid social to scale ROI. His strengths lie in data analysis, audience segmentation, and creative collaboration.
Outside the office, Fred is a passionate musician, proud husband to Kelsey & pet parent to Ruby, and a firm believer in lifelong learning. One surprising fact? He plays the electric washboard. Bucket list goal: playing Red Rocks.

Katie Gaynor

Katie has been working in the digital marketing field since 2016 and has been a proud member of Phelps since 2021. With nearly a decade of experience, she brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her work and is passionate about helping businesses succeed through strategic digital solutions. Over the years, she has built lasting relationships with her clients, earning their trust through consistent communication and a deep understanding of their goals.
At Phelps Digital, she values the collaborative, supportive environment and feels fortunate to be part of a team that genuinely cares about both its clients and its people.
Originally from New York, Katie now calls the North Carolina coast home, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and two cats.

Ethan Harrell

Originally from Pascagoula, MS, Ethan brings a passion for problem-solving and relationship-building to Phelps. He works with clients across a range of industries including automotive, home furnishings, power sports, and orthodontics – each with their own unique goals and challenges.
One of the most rewarding aspects for Ethan is the opportunity to help clients across a wide range of industries develop customized digital marketing strategies that deliver meaningful results. Known as a true “Swiss Army Knife,” Ethan is comfortable stepping into new industries and building tailored strategies. In fact, working in unfamiliar verticals has become one of the most enjoyable and energizing parts of the job.
Outside the office, Ethan is an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys spending free time fishing and boating.

Eugene Illarionov
DIGITAL STRATEGIST
Eugene is a Digital Strategist at Phelps Digital, originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, and a graduate of Pace University in New York City. One of his favorite parts of working at Phelps is the opportunity to collaborate with businesses across a wide range of industries, helping them make sense of what’s working – and what’s not – in their digital strategy.
Outside of work, Eugene enjoys playing volleyball, fishing, and practicing Muay Thai.
